Every doll-loving girl is going to be a designer for Mattel. Yes, the company is providing an e-environment to make up Barbie as a girl wishes. That is not all, the girl can also make her designs walk the ramp with suitable background music and lighting effects.
iDesign, which costs around $30 provides enthusiastic designers with a CD-ROM, gameware, fashion cards, a scanner to swipe the cards and collectibles (200).
How it works?
All they have to do is dump the Barbie images to their computers by scanning the cards and dress up the Barbie as they wish using the installed software, Design Studio.
What is the objective?
The patterns going to be delivered will be unique in style – with different outfits, different hairstyles and Barbies with different attitudes close to the ideas of design maker. Moreover, they are going to be trendy since they are the reflections of maker's fantasies.
iDesign – Barbie Fashion Cards will be available, in the retail market from this month, with different themes like Princess, Party, Bling, Casual, Beach, Bride, Rocker, Sporty and School.
